Lambda Xi Nu Chapter Scholarship

  The Lambda Xi Nu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. proudly supports the academic excellence of high school seniors in Anne Arundel County. Each year, we recognize students who demonstrate strong scholarship, leadership, and meaningful service to their schools and communities.

 The chapter will award one (1) scholarship. The scholarship amount will be determined based on funds raised during the previous year. 

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be  a current high school senior enrolled in an Anne Arundel County school
• Hold  a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Demonstrate  involvement in school, community service, or leadership activities

Application Packet

Submit all required documents as one (1) combined attachment to:

Your packet must include:

a. Completed scholarship application 

b. Official or unofficial high school transcript 

c. One (1) letter of recommendation 

d. passport photo of applicant

e. Essay (500 words) choose one of the following prompts

1. Perseverance Through Adversity Share a challenge you faced and explain how your determination helped you overcome it.

2. A Leader Who Inspires You Write about a community leader, educator, or mentor who has shaped your values or goals.
